
Youth Philanthropy Board
What is the Youth Philanthropy Board?
The Youth Philanthropy Board, comprised of students across Hawai‘i, is a vital part of the nonprofit Youth Service Hawaiʻi. The purpose of the board is to provide an avenue for youth voice in decision making as well as build capacity and leadership as philanthropists. The students that are selected to serve on the board will be asked to serve for two calendar years from their appointment. Members are trained on the components of the service learning grant.

Review and evaluate the Be The Change, Be Resilient Grant Applications

Be an effective collaborator with other YPB members

Serve as a liaison between Youth Service Hawaiʻi and grantees
